Services

Everything that can be done to a WordPress site's engine — and nothing that belongs to its content.

Prevention

What does not break needs no fixing

The vast majority of WordPress break-ins come through an outdated plugin or a missing backup. We rule those out, on a schedule, with a paper trail.

Maintenance

Regular, tested updates to core, plugins, theme and PHP.

  • A backup before each update, a check after, a rollback on failure
  • Abandoned or risky plugins replaced
  • Database cleanup: transients, revisions, orphaned tables
  • A monthly technical report on what happened and what is coming

Backups

Files and database, stored elsewhere, in several copies — and we test the restore.

  • Daily backups, hourly for busy sites
  • Stored off the server, encrypted
  • A quarterly test restore, so the backup is known to work
  • Retention: daily, weekly and monthly copies

Monitoring

We know when the site slows down, goes down or throws errors — before visitors tell you.

  • Uptime checked every minute from several locations
  • Load time and Core Web Vitals tracked
  • SSL expiry, domain expiry and DNS changes watched
  • Alerts by e-mail and a response during working hours

Proactive care

We do not wait for the failure: we measure, recommend and move first.

  • Vulnerability reports tracked for every installed plugin
  • PHP and server versions migrated before they reach end of life
  • Cache, images and database tuned on a schedule
  • A quarterly review: what is slowing, what is ageing, what we suggest

Treatment

When it has already gone wrong

Cleaning a hacked site is not enough — you have to find how they got in and close that door. Otherwise they are back in two weeks.

Disinfection

Malware, backdoors, SEO spam and redirects removed, along with the way in.

  • Full file and database scan for known and hidden malware
  • The source identified: plugin, password or server
  • Google Search Console warnings and blocklists cleared
  • A written report: what was there, what we did, what we advise

Security incident handling

Fast response, damage control and getting the service back.

  • The site isolated at once, every credential rotated
  • Restore from a clean backup when that is the faster route
  • Log analysis: when, from where, with what
  • Coordination with the host if the server is involved

Malware protection

Hardening, so the next attempt does not succeed.

  • Web application firewall and brute-force protection
  • Two-factor login, roles and file permissions put right
  • Scheduled malware scans and integrity checks
  • Security headers, PHP limits, XML-RPC and REST surface reduced

Intervention

When a bigger job is needed

A migration, a fresh install or a missing feature: we plan it, do it, and hand it over in a state that stays maintainable.

Migration

Host to host, domain to domain, without downtime or lost rankings.

  • Full migration: files, database, e-mail settings
  • Redirects and URL structure preserved for SEO
  • A trial run on the new host before DNS switches
  • Post-move checks: forms, checkout, search, images

Setup and configuration

A new WordPress site built the way we would like to maintain it.

  • Server, PHP, caching and HTTPS from day one
  • A minimal, vetted plugin set
  • Staging environment, version control, install documentation
  • Handover with backups, monitoring and an access policy

Plugin development

A custom feature when the ready-made plugin does not fit — or brings too much with it.

  • A custom plugin, or an extension of an existing one
  • Integrations with external systems: PMS, invoicing, CRM, APIs
  • Clean, update-safe code following WordPress conventions
  • Documentation and handover, so someone else can maintain it

SEO and GEO technical checkup

What search engines and AI answer engines see of your site — and what is getting in their way.

  • Indexability, robots, sitemap, canonical, hreflang
  • A speed and Core Web Vitals improvement plan
  • Structured data and a clean structure for generative engines (GEO)
  • A written report with concrete tasks — the content stays yours

Cannot find what you need? Tell us what is going on: if it is technical, it is probably our desk.

Let us start with a report.

Send us your site's address and within a few working days you will know what is fine and what is not. The checkup is a paid one-off — we quote the price before we start.
